Who remembers Tom Kat Sporting Goods?  In 1948, Bud Kellogg opened his hometown sports store in downtown Mahopac, NY.  His sons helped continue that tradition for over 40 years.  Over those years, countless local people from Mahopac and surrounding towns bought their first pair of ice skates, first ball glove, scout and gym uniforms, sneakers, fishing poles & bait, and much more at Tom Kat.  

Tom Kat over the years employed thousands of young people from the area, most with fond memories of their own.  Since the closing of Tom Kat, many have loved sharing the memories of the store that brought so much happiness to so many.  Those were truly the good old days. 

It's a good thing the store had such a distinctive logo, because we have decided to bring it back!  At this online store you can purchase all things Tom Kat...t-shirts, hats, tanks and more!  

Bud was a man who believed in community.  For those that want to bring back the good old days, we ask that if you see someone wearing a Tom Kat logo please stop and share some memories and keep his core values of family and community alive!
